There are ear plugs that are designed for listening to music.  The idea is that they diminish the overall volume with minimal degradation of the music.

I agree.  When it is too loud it takes away from the quality of the music and singing.

Thank you.  I  am going to look into this.  I also plan to ask my ENT, what he  recommends.
