mkkao924 Posted March 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Hi, I got an marketing email from HAL indicating there are selected itinerary offering reduced / free child fare. I am wondering how I can find out what those are? Even though there are signs on some of the itineraries, when I tried to price them, the price is still the same as before. Am I doing anything wrong? The specific one I was looking at is June 7th, 2020 Noordam from Vancouver to Seward, Verandah, 2 adults and 2 kids. The total came out to be $5976, but I got the exact same amount from the quote before this sale?!
Jareds_mommytoo Posted March 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2019 If its like the disney kids sail free, they up the base fare, even with kids sail free you still pay thier port fees and taxes
mkkao924 Posted March 20, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Understood that I still need to pay taxes and fees. I am just wondering if there is an easier way to browse through what itineraries offer reduced fare and what itineraries offer free child fare. OVgirl Posted March 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2019 First try a booking for 2 people followed by a booking for 4. That is about the only way to see if that cruise has the discount. I don't think there is any way to see a list of cruises that offer the 3/4 passenger discount.
MikeD4134 Posted March 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Check the HAL website, the special is right on the homepage, and they list the cruises that qualify. That Noordam cruise in 2020 is not on the list.
