Biking in Amsterdam Countryside

We are spending 2 days in Amsterdam and want to do a half day ride in the country. (One of us consistently rides several hours each weekend and the other has ridden once over the past 5 years. So a serious club style ride is out.)

 

I would like to book us in a tour that goes into the country. I found a few that do the north area (Waterland) and some that go south of the city into that polder area. I’d like to see at least 1 windmill...

 

Are there similar? Why choose one over the other?

 

 I’m positive I had found one that did Waterland (3 towns) + Marken, but cannot find it again. 

 

Any suggestions?

Yes more or less, also because it all is a flat countryside.

Some nice lakes with watersports like Vinkenveense plassen, Loosdrecht, and a bikepath along river Vecht.
