Saman Posted April 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2019 I live and my cruise is in Europe i know my online spendings will be in dollars ,i have a prepaid card that holds different currencys so i have put dollars on it to cover what we spend onboard but i think when we board we may have to register a credit card ,but i am presuming even if registered my credit card i would beable to go the night before and ask them to charge to my prepaid card.ls this correct? . Clarea Posted April 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2019 In your case, I would choose a cash account and then pay with your prepaid card on the last evening. Royal will let you charge up to $500 on a 7-night cruise before they ask you to pay down the account.
cb at sea Posted April 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2019 Yes...you may do that. Nothing is actually charged to your credit card until the cruise is over.
robandana Posted April 8, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2019 We use a cash account and then the last day I give them my CC/Debit if needed. They will do daily holds on you CC on file.
