What is Rhapsody doing Oct 26-Nov 9 2019?

There is no drydock scheduled. She is docking in Barcelona on Oct 26, and will be doing a Transatlantic from Barcelona on Nov 9, but there is no info anywhere on what is happening in that 2 week period.

Is Rhapsody old enough now that it must have more frequent inspections and maintenance performed on a more frequent basis?  I think it is at 23 years old.

 

Maybe it will be a dry dock, but a true dry dock for marine purposes that does not include a refresh or update of guest areas.

thats interesting; we are on the 19-26 oct cruise, it starts in venice and ends in barcelona, so I guess they have a reason for changing port?

Nothing that Royal has used in the past 10 years.  Closest would be Cadiz.

So do we know where Rhapsody will be in dry dock before our TA?

I've not seen any mention of dry dock date or location.  However, if there is a dry dock immediately before the ship leaves Spain, I can't imagine they would not use Cadiz if it's available.
