On-Board Shows

Have cruised with Viking Ocean 3 times in the past 3 years, the showcase evening shows have been pretty much the same on each cruise...Beatles, Abba, Rat Pack.  Getting a little old and predictable.  We are huge fans of each of these actual artists, but with 3  more cruises booked over the next 18 months, we're hoping for something new.  Anyone else feel the same way?

I do agree that change is needed, even if in the case of the three shows mentioned, it just means a change of the songs and routines in the show. Still, there have been changes to the shows over the years and a number of them that were part of the line-up when we first sailed have been replaced with other shows.

 

Maybe it would help Viking if we talked about the kinds of music we would like to hear--or not. What about...?

 

• Classic Country (the upbeat stuff, not the laments)
• California Sound (Beach Boys, Association, etc.)
• The Bandstand era
• Motown
• Classic Broadway
• Elvis Presley

Still, it also depends on what they can get the rights to.
