Ketchikan-Funicular

Does anyone know if the funicular near Creek Street is open this year?  Last year, it wasn't open during the 3 visits we made to Ketchikan.

Try typing "ketchikan funicular" into Google.  You will get lots of info.

The funicular in Ketchikan takes you from Creek Street up the hill to Cape Fox Lodge. There are some interesting totems there as well as the lodge and restaurant. We like to eat at the Cape Fox Lodge restaurant for breakfast often to start our day in Ketchikan - it offers amazing views of the harbor and really good food. My favorite is the sourdough pancakes with reindeer sausage. You can then hike down via Married Man's Trail - very scenic and a fun hike, especially going down! Here is  link with more info.
