Seasickness out of New York?

Recommended Posts

I sail out of NYC most of the time....I never book in the Fall/ Winter/ Early Spring....Only time I felt sick was in March and it was the last night, coming back to NYC.  One of the crew told me that it happens due to moving from the warm to cold waters.  Of course storms will cause more motion, as well.  So with that being said, if I am sailing out of NYC, I book April-Aug only.  So far, no issues but again, had no storms either!!
