NCL Star - Venice

Going on NCL Star out of Venice next week. Anyone know the earliest we can start boarding?? also - what free restaurants are open for lunch when we board?? is there a sail away party?? Any other most do's first day?? thanks !!

We were on the June 9 sailing. We had stayed in Venice the night before boarding and arrived at the ship around 11 am. We boarded almost immediately. We ate lunch in the main dining room (Versailles). It opened at noon so we had a drink waiting for it to open in the 5 o'clock Somewhere Bar which is right around the corner from the dining room. It was a very nice relaxed lunch.

it is possible that your sail away is a little bit later that day.

After the accident of the MSC ship they have bigger time interval between the ships at sail away at the moment.

but we will see if this is only at the moment or for a longer time.
