Cannes on a Sunday

Our cruise will be in Cannes on a Sunday - I am looking at a half-day excursion to Antibes and St Paul de Vence, and then I got to thinking, will shops and markets be closed on a Sunday? Are we better off just wandering around Cannes?

We were just in Cannes on Sunday May 19th (during the film festival) but regardless of the Sunday you'll be there you should have no trouble finding everything in town open.

 

We did a private group tour with some from our rollcall using Shoreexcursioneer to St Paul de Vence & Antibes...a great tour and company that I would highly recommend. Easy to book online with them.

St Paul de Vence is the perfect place to go on Sundays with just about everything open.  In fact, it is a popular Sunday place for many French.  And if you are an art lover also try to visit the nearby Maeght Foundation.
