Timing of NCL Excursion in a Tender Port

When a Norwegian excursion says it starts at, say, 1:00 PM... does that mean you meet in the theater on board  at 1:00 or are you on shore and boarding the bus at 1:00?  (Trying to decide for Santorini.)  Thanks.

When you get your tour tickets it will tell you where and when to meet. I can almost 100% guarantee you that for Santorini you will meet on board the ship and go directly to the dedicated tender which will take you to the new port to meet the  buses. The time to meet will be about 20 - 30 minutes before the excursion is scheduled to depart.

(Santorini is a unique port, in that all excursions are dispatched and then the ship moves before allowing independent travelers off at another location.
