How much to budget?

Hard to say...we don't know your tastes, interests, activities, etc.

Much can be put on credit card. You might not spend any cash. But in general, we always travel with at least 100 euros in our pockets. Is this your only stop that uses euros? Look at the bigger logistical picture, and decide what you might need, not just one port. Replenish euros as needed at an ATM.

Even for two people, Bruce's €100 seems to be over-the-top - €30 or less seems more likely to me if you use your credit card.

But I feel sure they're not your only ports-of-call in Euroland. So start with Bruce's figure as a total, then add to it via an ATM ashore (not on the ship - lousy exchange rates) as needed.

Unless this is the ship's last cruise of the European season, you can use unspent euros as tips for the crew.
