I ran the free version of “CCleaner” on my computer and now I’m back to the older and better version.

 

Did that this morning. No dice. I still got the poop page. I did try the link to the old search again afterward though and it now worked just fine so maybe running the utility worked for that. Of course I had to login to multiple sites that had previously remembered my login but I can deal with that.

I did the delete of cache and cookies but the new version remained.
