We have bought watches aboard the ships with OBC. If you do not use that OBC it van ishes like throwing Lt. Col. Benjamin Franklis out the window on the GSP!

Certainly your right to define it as you wish..  The claim was that there is no effective warranty.  I believe this is untrue as each manufacturer offers some sort of warranty.   I did not create the term, but believe it applies to reporting false information.  I replied as I was familiar with various warranties on these watches and in general.  Statistics play no role.  Thanks for your opinion.
