Hi

We want to get on the first NCL ferry to St George do don’t want to stand in line for tickets in the Dockyard. Can we get tokens or tickets in the St George ferry terminal? What to have tickets /tokens avaliable in case there is no mini buses going to Clearwater beach. We are only planning to go to beaches and maybe Hamilton once so passes are not really needed.

thanks

In June the lines were not long at the Dockyard as they had three people selling at the kiosk but I suggest not getting tokens as a backup, take coins. If there is no minibus I suggest taking a taxi, not a bus to Clearwater. About $17 for 1 to 4 passengers. The #6 bus does not run that often so you would be better off taking a minibus or taxi.  Tokens are sold in St. George’s at the Visitor Service Center and the Post Office. The Visitors Center is on York St several short blocks from the ferry dock. The bus stop is also York St. so if you decide to take the bus and want to buy tokens they are close to each other. Without a token or pass  the bus fare between St. George’s and Clearwater is $3.50 exact change in coins.  So if for some reason you want to take a bus back from Clearwater to St. George’s all you would need are the coins.

We have been buying the 15-ticket pack for $37.50 at the post office in St. George.  A short walk from the ferry.  Not sure about the Visitor's Center in St. George.

So, can you use tickets to take the bus back from Clearwater to St. George?

Ticket booklets are sold at the St. George’s post office. If you want a ticket booklet you should go there again to buy.  (Ticket booklets are not sold at the  Dockyard)
