Clothes steamer

Has anyone taken a clothes steamer with them.... are they allowed??

They are not allowed.  If they find them in your luggage when x-rayed, they will be confiscated.

Lots of people take Downy Wrinkle release.  Just make sure you do a test on a part that won't show and do it ahead of time so that it has a chance to dry.  Others just hang them in the bathroom while taking a shower and the steam helps getting rid of the wrinkles.  There are irons available in the laundry rooms but make sure you check the bottom of the iron before using.  Some have some gunk on the bottoms.
