DallasGuy75219 Posted August 15, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2019 They are not allowed. If they find them in your luggage when x-rayed, they will be confiscated.
Joe817 Posted August 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2019 No. Per Carnival website in the FAQ's: Prohibited Items . . . . Electrical and household appliances containing any kind of heating element, such as irons, clothes steamers, immersion heaters, heating blankets, water heaters, coffee machines, hot plates, toasters, heating pads, humidifier, etc. (All Carnival ships provide facilities with ironing boards and irons; fleet-wide valet laundry service is also available for a nominal fee.) RWolver672 Posted August 15, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2019 Lots of people take Downy Wrinkle release. Just make sure you do a test on a part that won't show and do it ahead of time so that it has a chance to dry. Others just hang them in the bathroom while taking a shower and the steam helps getting rid of the wrinkles. There are irons available in the laundry rooms but make sure you check the bottom of the iron before using. Some have some gunk on the bottoms.
