Costs of Vacation Protection with RCI

Recommended Posts

I know insurance cost is based on cruise fare...

Is there a link to go to to find out the cost of the insurance?  Some friends are trying to compare prices on RCI vs other insurance coverages. Yes ... I told them third party insurance would be best but they are in the final payment timeline and want the “cancel for any reason” protection from RCI (costs more now with third party because they didn’t insure their trip with a certain times frame). And yes, they could call to find out but they would like a breakdown for future reference for other cruises.

Thanks in in advance for all responses and information.

Does Celebrity have the same program? I would assume they would being the same company. Pre-X is waived when added, no questions asked?

Cheers

I believe there is a look-back period.

I would spend some time looking at their policy vs 3rd party insurance.    Their payouts are severely limited and may not cover what is needed should you get sick at a foreign port, etc.

Thanks much Ken.  Isn't it odd that we talk about prices today and they raise them effective today.
