Can someone tell me the “rank” in order of the veranda cabins on Holland’s ships? VA is the best down to VQ?? Where do the just V cabins fall in the order? We usually book guarantees VH and am just curious. I know a lot is based on location. Thx

HAL ranks them VQ, V, VA, VB ... VH, but many people disagree on the top three levels. Also on the Koningsdam and Nieuw Statendam there is a VS level between VQ and V, and on Eurodam there is a VT between VQ and V.

Look at HAL’s pricing on those cabins.  That will tell you a lot about how HAL ranks them.   And remember somethings are a personal preference, so you may disagree with HAL’s rank.   Verandas may have obstructed views and it’s generally noted- that would be a big NO for me.   Also, some have solid wall, not plexiglass front.  I could do that before obstructed view. . . In my mind V, VA, VB...VH, VQ but I also want to know WHY?  Forward cabin?  Aft cabin?  Mid ship? Right above a nightclub cabin? Right below Lido cabin? Obstructive view? Solid wall?   So many, many things. . . You can check deck plans and rank for yourself.  😊
