Carnival MC Funpoints OBC

First time back on Carnival and I have $200 OBC from my barclay card funpoint transfers. Our group probably won't be doing excursions, can I use those OBC to gamble in the casino? DH bought the discount aarp carnival gift card for our cheers package, so that's done too. And Elation doesn't have specialty restaurants. Would I lose those OBC if not spent or can it be cashed out in some way at the end? Also, if I have someone else go on the cruise with DH instead of me would the OBC remain on the reservation for DH to spend? Thank you!

You could also use your OBC for gratuities, I believe.  Perhaps others can confirm.
