SPA Pricing

I know that SPA pricing booked in advance online varies by day and offers lower pricing during port days. Does anyone know if these are the same port day deals I will find onboard or could they be even lower onboard? Is it better to book these in advance (aside from potentially better scheduling options)? Thanks

Spa services used to be my favorite part of every cruise.  No longer book as I can get 2 at my local salon for the price of 1 on ship.  Never been able to get the price they post for booking via cruise planner.  Must by like the car dealers, they had 1 car at that price and sold it when door opened in morning.
