Unless this person is actually with a cruise line approved scooter rental service, they won’t be allowed to deliver scooters to any cruise ship.

Thank you, kitty9, absolutely true.    The most commonly approved scooter rental companies for the cruise lines are Scootaround and Special Needs at Sea.   Double-check with your cruise line to verify what rental companies they allow.

We were on Norwegian cruise line one time and they only allow Scootaround.   This was the first time we had ever run into only one of the two most commonly mentioned rental companies being allowed.   We had never rented from Scootaround prior to this but they were just fine (we actually received the same brand and model of scooter as we would have had we rented from Special Needs).

Another note:   you can bring your own scooter on board (or a rental that you bring with you).   The above only applies to scooters that are rented and the rental company delivers them to your stateroom.
