letscruzmarch Posted September 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2019 I will be cruising out of Miami on the 26th of December. We are booked on NCl sky. We have cruised this ship before and liked it. Freeport has been removed from our itinerary, leaving us with Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau. The last time we missed GSC because of weather the tenders could not operate. I am considering changing to Infinity.. she stops in Key West(which we love) and Nassau. at least we would be fairly sure to have 2 ports. My concern is the vibe on infinity.. we are forty somethings looking for an upbeat cruise. Will there be a lot of kids due to Christmas? I just got off of Connie I did Barcelona to Venice (fantastic cruise) Not many kids....a much older demographic. Any thoughts on typical demographic of this ship? At this time of year. It’s school vacation so there will be kids. We’ve sailed both ships, for us Infinity hands down.
Rare Cruise Raider Posted September 22, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2019 I've sailed on both ships and I would choose the Infinity, hands down! And, the demographics will skew younger during school holidays, even on Celebrity!
letscruzmarch Posted September 22, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted September 22, 2019 Yes for sure there will be kids during school breaks that is a guarantee. I think I will go for the infinity. Any experience or advice with suites on infinity? Yes 4 day is short.. but it’s that or nothing. It is all our schedule allows.
