Shy gave us a note and asked us to say hello to the above. We cruised on the 1/18/06 sailing of the Maasdam and just returned yesterday. We had read much about Shy on these boards, and happened to run into him the first day at lunch. We saw his name tag, and told him he was famous on Cruise Critic! He just laughed. He's amazing...we told him our names once, and he remembered and greeted us by name every single morning at breakfast!

Thanks for the Hello from Shy, we too really enjoyed him. He was not our waiter in the Dining Room but his station was right next to ours. He was fantastic and gave us so much entertainment and fun our our wonderful Maasdam cruise. I only hope he is still on the Maasdam when we plan to return in 2007.:)
