bostonfred Posted October 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2019 Hi, I believe the ferry is close to cruise terminal so we can walk there. I also believe that it is a couple miles to the hotel from ferry drop off. We would head over after breakfast and thought about ferry over and maybe Uber for the return. We are flexible and concerned about traffic delays. Any advice would be appreciated...thanks, 😎😎
CruiserBruce Posted October 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 5, 2019 The walk from the ferry drop off to the Del is about 1.5 miles, all flat, through a nice neighborhood. We did it a couple of years ago. Easy walk. Lots of local restaurants to eat at. I would walk it both ways.
KeepCalmBearOn Posted October 5, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2019 I'd ferry over, Uber back. The 904 bus stops at the Ferry Landing and then takes you downtown.

You just want to leave before the military bases start to empty out.

KeepCalmBearOn Posted October 9, 2019 #7 Share Posted October 9, 2019 I'd say 3pm-ish. It isn't awful, they do adjust the Coronado Bay Bridge, which has five lanes from 3 coming on the island to 3 leaving the island. It adds maybe ten minutes if you get caught in the traffic, but the ten minutes FEELS like forever.
