Silver/Gold wine package list

It can always change slightly but this is what we saw on our cruise earlier this month (which is the same wine list that we had earlier in the year as well).

The pricing for the case (12 bottles) with the 18% gratuity came to $396 ... which was $33 a bottle for any bottles up to $45 from the menu.  For the 10 bottle package, I think the price came out to $34 or $35 a bottle and for the 7 bottle package, it was a couple dollars a bottle more than that.

BTW, there is no longer a silver / gold bottle bottle package ... just the one described above.

And, if you find a bottle you want to try that is over the limit, they will charge you for the bottle on your folio and then deduct $45 from your bill.  So, a $55 bottle comes to an extra $10 only.

Since they have such an excellent selection of wines on the list, IMO, I no longer feel the need to bring my own unless I am sailing from a nearby port and I would like a couple of bottles for the room.  And, that brings up my other point that you can get a bottle to take to your room but can only order it from one of the dining areas ... not from any bar or lounge.  Also, they weren't willing to get a bottle for us during the pub lunch when it was held in the Crown Grill.  Oh, and the Crown Grill (we never went to Sabatini's) had a different wine menu than the one I posted from the MDR.

There is no restriction of the wines you can order with the Gold packages. Wines up to $45 are covered by the package, and for wines above $45 you just pay the difference ie a $50 wine would cost you an extra $5 so you are still getting the maximum saving on that wine.
