dogs4fun Posted November 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2019 (edited) Breaks my heart. I certainly hope that there is no permanent, extensive damage to St. Mark's Basilica or the Doge's Palace. Edited November 16, 2019 by dogs4fun
Rare cruisemom42 Posted November 16, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2019 Same here. We were so lucky two years ago when I went with my son around this time. We spent 4 nights in Venice and had absolutely gorgeous weather.
MCazer Posted November 19, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2019 We were just there last month, and while on a tour the guide showed us the platforms they put down. She said they were placed out on the streets because they expected flooding soon. Boy oh boy, the floods in the photos were definitely higher than those platforms!
