BartonX Posted January 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2020 Hi folks, Our cruise on the Star Pride will leave San Juan on 3-7-20 at 7pm. Embarkation starts at 1pm. We are wondering if we can leave the boat and go to the old town of San Juan once we embark the ship or do you have to stay on board after initial embarkation? Thank you! Misty Morning Posted January 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2020 You should be able to but given you wil have forfeited your passport when you check in, you will need to bring your ship card with a piece of photo ID

Ski Mom 2 Posted January 11, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2020 On our back2back2back in the Mediterranean, during the change over days, my DH and I left the ship to go tour the city. It was just like any other port day for us. We had our ships card (to get on and off) and our drivers license plus money of course 🙂 We never had our passports with us on any of our 25 days. cruisencrazy Posted January 13, 2020 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2020 We embarked in San Juan and left the ship after lunch and unpacking. Got back in time for boat drill. No issues at all.
