I have not done this route but the buses down here are great, very clean, punctual and generally have WiFi onboard. Turbus and Pullman Bus have numerous buses from Santiago to Valparaiso - either direct or with several stops. it takes about an hour and a half to an hour and three quarters and is currently around $5.00 - 8.00 USD one way. The Valparaiso to San Antonio is about the same time again two or three buses an hour . Check Rome2Rio for the schedules, routes and prices. iancal Posted January 16, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2020 We have taken busses from Valparaiso to Santiago. They were great. Highway buses that left it seemed every half hour. Several different bus companies. We paid something like $4. one way each. The bus goes to a terminal in Santiago where you can subsequently get another bus directly to the airport. We chose to stay at the Ibis Hotel, just around the block for that reason. There is a subway stop there which we use each day. I have no doubt that you can get an inexpensive, fast bus to San Antonio. After getting off the ship, we spent a few days in Valparaiso. We were shocked at what Princess had been charging for Santiago transfers compared to the cost of what we paid for the highway bus.
