Check In Time?

How early/late are the check in times for the cruises that leave at 3:30pm? I don’t have FTTF. I’m booked on Carnival Sunrise.

We cruised on the Valor out of NOLA last month and departed at 3:30. I got us the earliest check-in, which was 11:30-12:00. We'll be on the Horizon in a couple months with a 4:00 departure and, again, I got us the earliest check-in, but it's not until 12:30-1:00. I don't know if it's because Vista class ships take longer to clear and they don't want to start filling up the terminal sooner, or what. It's our first time on a Vista class ship, so I don't know if it's normal for check-in to start that late. We were shocked to see that was the earliest one.
