summit cabins under spa treatment rooms

in the short time i choose a room, they all disappeared but one. TA said he never saw anything like it.  but its in the middle of the treatment rooms. not the hair salon. i really wanted the other side of the ship though. sigh

in theory i'm guessing the treatment rooms close by 10. and maybe the occasional cart going across the floor but no way chairs like the buffet and pool areas.

any other real life experiences?

We have stayed under the spa and treatment rooms on other ships and they are great - very little noise from above. On S class most Aqua rooms are under the pool deck or other potentially noisy locations, so if we are sailing AQ we always try for one under the spa instead. We are on Solstice in May and had an A2 under the Persian Gardens but decided to switch to a hump balcony under the Aqua Spa Cafe - and as wonderful as the large balcony will be, it was a tough call!

Occasional light footsteps during the day, less than what you'd expect if you were under a passenger cabin. Absolutely nothing early or late. Truly it is one of the best locations ever if you like quiet.

bummer! hopefully something will come through that you are happy with. I am going on my second cruise in march. the first time i booked directly with Celebrity. This time i used a TA recommended by a friend. I am very pleased to have used the TA. She got us a great deal with heaps of perks!!

it did, here's the story on my link above

i'm new to X. began researching only 2 weeks ago and i'm crazy about details so i dont just book willy nilly. i research every aspect of the ship and cabins. missed the sale last week but yesterday saw verandas were almost down to nothing for my bermuda trip on summit and emailed my TA to hold one. in that short time he said N/A but i held another one for me instead, and even the other ones a deck down all disappeared at once. weird! still i really wanted that location. today i watched the cabins many times every hour. finally one popped up where i wanted. called him and he got it

i got my confirmation booking. all is well.

then after lunch today, i saw prices dropped. i emailed him and he got me 4th perk free instead of just the 3 from yesterday. but at his discount price. obviously i'm happy. good location. all the perks back and only penalized 235 for waiting a week to book. i can live with it.

then a little while later, he calls me and says celebrity wants that cabin back. someone else was doing a cancel and rebook and i got it in that time it took that they did not follow through and rebook it. talk about crazy luck!.  i thought he was gonna tell me i have no cabin since i knew the one i just released got snagged up right away.  but he said they will give me CC and turns out it has an angled balcony (unsure if that was their intent or not). he ran thru the list of perks because i really didnt ever research CC because it was out of my price range and i said well, at same price id be a fool not to take it. so i got it and got confirmation! this is $800 more on my trip so it's a sweet deal and i cannot believe the luck i've had. i do wonder what if i did say no i wont give up that other cabin? or why they didnt just give it to the other person? not complaining! just curious.

lets hope no more hiccups. dont think i can take it 🛳️

expect zero footsteps from any cabin. in 5 cruises never heard a one

Really? We have had stompy upstairs neighbors on several cruises. Generally speaking being under another passenger cabin is fairly quiet but you never know. All things being equal I prefer to be under the spa. Glad your dilemma worked out in the best possible way!

maybe ive been lucky? i had 2 haven cabins, one princess mini suite, one princess forward suite, one regular balcony on ncl. worse noise ever from any room itself was L225 on regal princess. its like the metal  in the walls wasnt screwed together tight and in rough seas it kept me up 2 nites. someone tried jamming something in the ceiling crown molding even. didnt work.

now hotels..thats another story ..never figured out why someone was playing what appeared to be marbles overhead.
