Booking with Casino OBC, then cancelation

A few months ago the casino had a special, were you could book select cruises, and get $500 per cabin OBC. The huge OBC was the reason we booked. Now of course, crap is not going down the toilet properly, and there is a distinct chance we will not be able to go on the cruise. (the good old pre-existing diabetes). Cruise is not until May 2020. At this point, I am going to wait for them to deny me boarding, either with my diabetes, or the cruise gets cancelled.

Let's pretend that will all blow over and cruising will return to normal in the future. I know they are giving FCC or refunds. Anyone want to speculate if I rebook for a later date, if I can get the $500 OBC from the casino on a future sailing? Yes, I tried to call the casino, and the lines are down.

My guess is no, but I hope you do.  Good luck!

Check your offers, I have another casino offer that is exactly the same as my previous offer: $500 obc and drinks in us card. This second identical offer allowed me to secure a $249 price drop yesterday without loosing my obc.

I had the $500 on board credit. I cancelled that cruise and moved it to a Premier cruise Oct. 31..now it's $500 free play. But we also got all sorts of perks. Also we now have a balcony cabin and still got $150 credit back. I was on hold 2 hours yesterday morning but I feel good. Though I will miss Mexico in 3 weeks 😞

We had an Elite cruise coming up on March 21 with OBC, free play, Cheers, etc. I had already sent in our in cabin beverage selections and choose spa over the offered excursions.

I am hoping that the casino offers me a replacement cruise with the same perks but figured I should give them a couple of weeks to work things out.

How will they know if you have diabetes? Wife and I have same offer, $500 OBC, drinks on us cards, plus additional $200 OBC for not canceling. We are playing by ear as things are changing swiftly but have every intention of cruising in May. I am no expert but I am pretty sure OBC is non transferable to other cruises. Hope all works for you.
