Doctor's letter over 70

Hi fellow cruisers. Does Carnival still requir a letter from a doctor to sail? Royal Carribean still has it listed  and many are looking  to other lines for future booking. Thanks in advance for any help. Bob & Nancy

My wife and I are 70+ and heard some of this early on but have heard nothing in the last month and have seen nothing official from Carnival.  I hope it is yesterday's news for two reasons.  It would add what amounts to a $100.00 + surcharge to get a doctors ok and secondly  I can't believe a doc would take on this liability.
