Future cruise credit

Our cruise on the Odyssey was cancelled. I had only paid the $500.00 deposit.. How  does the future cruise credit work? I would like to book another cruise. Do I have to wait for the future cruise certificate?

You can call and they will be able to book you a cruise and put it on hold with no deposit until your FCC is issued .  Once your FCC is issued you can apply it to cover  the deposit.

Hi Ourusualbeach.  I am so confused with regard to when FCC can/must be used.

 

Some time ago, I had read somewhere on CC that FCC must be redeemed by January 1, 2021 and sail by April 30, 2022.  We  cancelled our NRD November cruise two weeks ago, and  I had begun looking at cruises for Feb. or March 2022.

Just in the past few days, I read somewhere (again, somewhere on CC, lol!) that when the guests cancel, it's an Apply by And Sail date of December 21, 2021.

If you cancel it is an apply by and sail by date of Dec 31, 2021

 

If Royal cancels then it is still an apply by date of Dec 31, 2021 but the sail by date is April 30, 2022
