  • Is it on an island just off the coast where you can walk to at low tide

Hint:  a revered waterfront for a home to legends “of note”.

Bonus points for identifying the collective name for these elegant buildings.

It looks like the Liverpool Liver Building. I've not been there but have seen pictures of it 🙂

Correct, @Jean C, well done.  Your turn even without nominating “The Three Graces” as the name for (a) Royal Liver Building (b) the Cunard Building, and (c) the Port of Liverpool Building.  They stand on Pier Head on Liverpool’s Mersey River.  This shot was taken from our balcony on Queen Anne on 3rd June, during her Naming Ceremony.  It was a memorable experience.

Is it Kings Island Park, Mason, Ohio?

Yes, it sure is. I thought this one would be hard!

Kings Island is landlocked, however the name comes from a local area called Kings Mills and Coney Island, from where many of the rides were relocated. No apostrophe, grrr 😡

It has the longest, tallest, fastest wooden roller coaster in the world.  I'm at the top of a 1/3 size Eiffel Tower.

My daughter and I were staying with friends in Indianapolis, Jim would say "ain't nut'n more'n a tank o' gas away". We'd told them of our harrowing experience on Montezuma's Revenge at Knotts Berry Farm, which somehow gave them the impression we liked roller coasters, hence their insistence to take us there 😱 🤣

Your turn 🙂
