Coin Ceremony

A friend sent me this link from the Rotterdam Vll coin ceremony a few weeks back:

At the end there is footage of a bottle being broken like in the classic christening ceremony.

Question: Is a bottle breaking part of the Coin Ceremony?  And- what is the ceremony (specifically with HAL) composed of?

The ceremony is done during construction and done by an elected godmother and blessed by a priest. It's for good luck. The coins used to be dutch coins which don't exist anymore( although they could have called me, I still have some🙂)  are now 2 specially made commemorative coins and go into the keel or mast.
