Mur-cruiser Posted March 3, 2006 #505 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I know you've probably answered this before but, in suites do they have shampoo and the such and how are the hair dryers. Trying to cut down on luggage. I know they have them but are they any good(oh that's right you are a guy:D ) Thanks so much for the blog, very interesting and makes our cruise(3/26/06) seem more real. Unlike the standard cabins with Shampoo in a wall pump you get the following Bath Amenities (L'Occitane) > Cotton ball & Q-Tip > Shampoo > Conditioner > Bath Gel > Moisturizing Lotion > Milk Facial Soap 1.7 oz (20% Shea butter) > Verbena Soap 3.5 oz (20% Shea Butter) > Bath salts, presented in container Hair dryer is great - not that I need a great one. Chrome pistol grip with multiple settings.

Chrome pistol grip with multiple settings. We had cotton balls and q-tips in our ocean view on Celebrity. In the shower just hair and shower gel. Fine for us. We're used to fairly spartan accommodations. :) At least we didn't have to use the hairdryer to thaw frozen equipment! :D Cheers, Norman
Mur-cruiser Posted March 3, 2006 #508 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I'm assuming that all applies to an AF 11580 suite. Now if they could just do shoes, DH would be very very happy!:D Thanks again for the info. "THE CRUISIN FOOLS" 3/26/06 are ready to go!

shoreguy Posted March 3, 2006 Author #513 Share Posted March 3, 2006 I would never steal. ..I'll just say shoreguy said it was okay:D I thought it was totally tacky and they were not taking just one. I am sure that if they just asked the cabin steward he would have been happy to help. Keep in mind a small bottle of regular conditioner was like $8 in the gift shop. claudie Posted March 4, 2006 #522 Share Posted March 4, 2006 I was at a fundraiser last week and one of the baskets that was raffled off was full of those hotel/cruise ship size products that we all get for free; "The Sampler". It was a huge basket! I thought it was funny when they claimed the value of the entire basket to be $100.00!!

angeljt Posted March 4, 2006 #525 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Here are some of the products and prices of the toiletries they give you. They really are nice products, IMHO. They refill anything you've used twice a day. http://usa.loccitane.com/travelsize/default.asp
