Carnival Gift Cards

We redeemed points from our Carinval Mastercard for $200 in gifts cards.  We've had 3 canceled cruises and a 4th we canceled.  We are not likely to use these gift cards any time in the foreseeable future.  I called Mastercard today to see if we can trade them in on another gift card or get credit.  They said they would open a "case".  I am to call back in 7 to 10 days to get an answer.  Has anyone else requested a refund or credit for their Carnival Mastercard gift cards?  What were your results?

It's what I wanted to do.i paid for my 10 day journey cruise next January with gift cards that have been rolled over a couple times.im waiting on last minute for carnival to cancel but if they don't I will.i booked before vivid I'm not willing to do 10 days of mask wearing or ship sponsored excursions.i already had my days planned.i figure it will be a huge hassle getting cash back so I booked a 4 day and will put my money on it.any extra I'll cash out at the casino plus I promised the youngest grandson a trip last year .hopefully it works out for you.
