UniWorld River Princess/Duchess room location

Looking at 2022.   Room 401 is available on those two boats.  It's the room next to the elevator on the restaurant floor.  Anyone have any experience with  the location...noise,vibration?

Are you a light sleeper or a late sleeper that would rather sleep than go to breakfast?

Everyone going to the dining room will be passing by your cabin, so any cabin on that level will have the same issue. The halls are carpeted  and the walls are padded, so the noise is usually muted unless someone is having a loud conversation as they walk by.

The noise level  will go up just before a scheduled excursion when passengers will start to congregate in the reception area.

We were never disturbed by mechanical noises on the upper level.
