Prices jacked up for the 72 hour "Sale"?

I have been looking at the 8 day ABC cruises on the Horizon in Sept-Oct.

Today prices are up $100-500 total (for 2) for interiors on ALL sailings.

Are you kidding me??!!

I cannot believe demand dictated this on every sailing for 3 months...

Thoughts?

You're surprised that prices went up for a "sale?" lol. 

 

To someone booking for the first time and anxious to get onboard, the price may be just fine for them. Two people in my roll call booked yesterday. I'm 100% sure I couldn't afford the room I have if I booked it now.

Prices in general across all lines are DEFINITELY higher.

But I've been looking those for the last week...prices were static, then BOOM! UP!

I just booked a 7-day Caribbean cruise out of Galveston for that 72-hour sale and the Past Guest Rate was $250 for an inside. Couldn't resist.
