Hope people can read these!

The 1st is opening hours of bars restaurants kids clubs etc. This can change on the day if weather is rubbish so for example the sky lounge isn't open till 5 but Friday weather was rubbish they opened it at 10.

The next ones are the daily programs. Tells what's going on around the ship and times.

Then I have the Excursions list and info also prices.

Then Disembarkation. This again will change depending on how many people on board but it gives you an example. This was when I got off yesterday 31st July Southampton.

I can't speak for YC as not in YC.

Do you know if second dinner sitting was 8.30 every night? We chose second sitting, it said it was 7.45, I’m thinking 8.30 is a little late for our 11yo. Thanks

Hi ya yes it was 8.30 on our cruise. We had 1st sitting at 6pm on both cruises. If those dining times are not suitable or you just don't fancy going to the main restaurants then the buffet is open from 6/6.30.

Forgot to say that you can speak to the maitre d' at the restaurant and ask if you can be moved to the earlier time. They changed our table for us and I'm sure with a young one they would understand, however the 1st sitting is very busy so it would also be if they can get you a table but I would definitely ask.

Hi,

We would like to do the cruise on the Loch excursion during our cruise on the 14/8. Unfortunately it’s fully booked according to the app so I wondered whether in people’s experience it’s either likely there will be an extra trip out on, or perhaps the availability shown by the app is not accurate?

I don’t want to book an alternative option just to later find out the preferred trip would available!

Many thanks for posting this -

We are looking at a last minute cruise from Greenock later this month and would appreciate if you could advise on the following if possible -

Portland - Assume this is a cruise past and not a stop?

Spa - Is this still mainly closed or has it re-opened?

Ports - Can you still get off & do your own thing or must you book an excursion?

Thanks.

Portland if its on your itinerary then it will be a port stop.

Ports if you want to get off the ship you can but only on an msc bubble tour. If you go on an msc excursion you have to stay with the group and if you leave the group and go off on your own you will be denied boarding back on ship.

The spa is not my thing but it was open on both cruises I did but with limited facilities. I.e the hot tubs weren't open in the spa.

Hope this helps.

Hi cruise forever, a couple of fee paying shows have popped up on the app for my cruise next week in the carousel lounge. Were  these shows on your cruise?
Do you know which days formal-elegant nights were? I’m thinking of booking one of these shows. Thanks for all your help.

Hi yes there were fee paying shows on both cruises but I'm not going to be much help as I didn't go to those.

I went and saw Abracadabra which was really good in the main Theatre and Divas (which were 3 women singing divia songs which was good too.

The Eclipse band they were on both cruises really really good. They did a couple of free gigs in the carousel lounge.

So the formal nights on both my cruises were a Monday and a Thursday

Sorry not much help re fee paying shows but other people who I've got to know said they were good. 🙂
