wesport Posted September 4, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2021 This is not related to Seabourn, but Seabourn has done Greece over the summer. We are on a cruise that ends in Athens. Prior to the end of the cruise, there are three ports of call in Greece. We will only be at port for several hours each day. Do I list my entry point as Athens as we are getting off the ship at that point, or use our first port of call?
wyattsaunt Posted September 4, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2021 We never had to show our Passenger Locator Form after leaving the airport in Greece upon our arrival from the US. Our cruise was 8/14-8/28. We spent 2 days in Athens prior to the cruise. Our travel agent told us we only had to list our Athens hotel as our destination in Greece. At the airport, they just glanced at the form. We held onto the PLF form until the we returned to the US. No one ever asked to see the form after our airport arrival. I hope that answers your question.
Rare Hlitner Posted September 4, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2021 When we were in Greece (just a couple of weeks ago) the Passenger Locator Form was only used at the entry airport (in our case ATH) where we did need to show our QR code (generated by submitting the PLF). Nobody ever asked to see that form again, even when we were island hopping (on Greek ferries). When you fill out the PLF it does ask for your original location (in Greece) but there is no need to give then your itinerary. Just a heads-up that we were asked to show our vaccination cards (or a recent negative test result) when we were island hopping and boarded our ferry from Pireaus to Naxos. But once on the islands nobody ever asked for anything. It seems that the Greek government is doing their best to control entry to the various Greek Islands (everyone must be either vaccinated or have a recent negative COVID test) and this seems to have helped limit the COVID issue on the islands.
