Glasgow, Scotland Hotel

I’m in the planning stages of a cruise in Nov 2022……I would like to fly to Glasgow and spend 3 days there. It looks like there is alot to keep one busy. There is a HoHo bus for a general tour.  The airport website mentions a shuttle into the city centre.  Can anyone recommend a hotel that would be fairly close to the tourist sites, transportation, eateries, etc. I don’t need barebones or luxury…something clean, decent, safe, maybe with a little pizzaz to it 😁.  After my visit I am hoping to take the train to Southampton. I’m hoping that Covid is not controlling our lives a year from now.  Thank you for any and all suggestions!

I tentatively booked the Grasshoppers Hotel near the Glasgow Central Station. I figured it was good because I can walk over to the train for my trip to Southampton.  It looks like a good hotel.

The centre of Glasgow is walkable if you are quite mobile and know where you are going. And there's plenty of hotels in the city centre ranging from different budgets.
