Rare mizLORInj Posted December 14, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2021 Hi all. Booking Reflection in February and the St. Thomas daysail owner is asking if we dock at 11am local or ship time. Anyone know?
dcbiker97 Posted December 14, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2021 In St Thomas today on Reflection and we are on local time. Celebrity, almost always, switches to local time when visiting a port. I can recall only one instance in 16 years of cruising where the Celebrity Captain maintained ship time.
Rare mizLORInj Posted December 14, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted December 14, 2021 ok, thanks. Good to know. Been there many times on different cruise lines, and whether they adjusted varied. ENJOY!
TeeRick Posted December 14, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2021 @mizLORInj My only comment is that any local excursion tour operator who works with cruise passengers weekly would not need to ask you this question. They should know better than you. It is how they make a living. Are they new?

I have been on cruises (various lines so I don't know which) where we stayed on ship time. I remember that doing that created confusion while we were in port! I so very much look forward to sailing there again soon!
