S2S same day Long Beach (Carnival) to San Pedro (Princess)?

Has anyone had experience with a side to side same day from Carnival Long Beach arrival to Princess San Pedro departure?

Any issues to just catch a taxi/uber from Long Beach after debarkation and drop bag at San Pedro in the AM? (And then wander around the port etc before boarding Princess ship later that day).

No problem...The two terminals are on opposite sides of the harbor...approximately 6-7 miles apart...It should be EASY to get an Uber or Lyft between the two.

Not much in the San Pedro area to see currently other than the USS Iowa.

 

I'd get off the Carnival as late as possible before heading to San Pedro.
