pbenjamin Posted January 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2022 We are considering cancelling our 1/22 cruise on the Escape. We did not buy insurance but we can apparently receive FCC for 100% of what we spent on the cruise. The whole experience has me reconsidering travel insurance. We intend to book another cruise this year using the FCC. Can you purchase travel insurance when doing that?
AnitaVacation Posted January 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) yes, you can use the credit on the total of your invoice (cruise fare, taxes, gratuities, air, etc)... We had to pull the trigger yesterday for our 1/3 & 1/8 bookings with airfare. We will get 100% of what we paid (minus the insurance) in future cruise credit. I was worried about the airfare part, I didn't know if we were getting an airfare credit...but no, it's all in Norwegian Credit. I'm just really bummed because we had such an awesome deal on this vacation.... (casino deal)... I hope that we can get another deal like that in the future.... (sigh) Edited January 1, 2022 by AnitaVacation
