"Adult" Kid, Third In Cabin

Recommended Posts

My daughter turns 13 this year, SCARY!  When did that happen?

Anyway,  in RCI's eyes she's no longer a kid after 12, as when I book I choose "adult" for her now.

Does this mean she gets certificates now for onboard benefits in Crown & Anchor?

Will she get BOGO dining and free internet days etc.

Or does it still only go to my wife and I since she's the 3rd in the cabin?

Regardless of age she gets  the same kids C&A perks as anyone under 21 if sailing from North America.  Turning 13 means nothing.  The only thing that has recently changed us that kids now get the tier appropriate number of drink vouchers loaded onto their card

She should share your status and be able to keep it as an adult.  She should get all the "perks" of her status.  You may have to ask on board.

There are an entirely different set if perks that are loaded into seapass cards for those under 21.

Really?  I've never seen these.... is there a list?   Whenever we have asked we've been told, "Sorry it's only for the parents"

Also, does it change where she gets the adult benefits at 18?  21?

I figured it was a slim chance, but since they book adults 13+ I was thought i'd ask.

My kids havecreceived a letter with their benefits on every sailing.  Theres only  about 5 coupons and they are pretty useless (at least for us).  I don't think we've ever used any of  them.
