1st ship to Hawaii

DW & I are on the 1st ship back to Hawaii. The COVID prep vaccines earlier and testing and Hawaii SafeTravel was the most stressful part. Got the QR code from Safe Travel the morning we were to drive to the port to board. Princess took care of the testing on board prior 2 days to arrival to Hawaii. Only 1188 passengers so about 40% full and crew doing very thorough cleaning. Only source of COVID would be passengers so let’s all be careful and this 1st cruise will prove to all that cruising can be safe.  Hopefully CDC will be listening with real data and real science. Feel safe with lots of social distancing.  Dining tables spaced at least 2 feet apart and dining rooms and venues in general not crowded. Excursions thru Princess had buses only 1/2 full at most. Crew and Hawaii workers glad to see us back. Enjoying the return to cruising.  We had done for us a test cruise in October on a Calif coastal and felt safe.

Tables only 2 feet apart doesn't seem like they are taking things seriously...unless they are also leaving empty tables between guests.  Just my 2 cents worth...and it may not even be worth that! 😄
