Maui - Lahaina wharf - any update when open for ships tenders?

Maui - Lahaina wharf - does anyone have an update on when it will be open for ships tenders? It looks like celebrity eclipse is scheduled for Lahaina in May 2022 but before that ships are docking at Kahului. I googled it and can’t get a current construction update.

Not sure when the work will be done but the insignia was tendering there back in January. The huge crane is still at the harbor if that matters.

I contacted the department in Hawaii responsible for the pier project in Lahaina. The reply:

"Cruise ships will still be arriving in Lahaina as scheduled and the construction won’t interfere with this process."

 

No guarantees, but sounds good to me.
