Air deviation arrival

Hey guys I searched but am not finding anything. This is will be my first time using NCL free at sea air (and yes I booked so long ago it is “free” and not the bogo) and I wasn’t sure how deviations work when traveling internationally.

So most flight to Europe are overnight flights arriving in the AM. My cruise leaves on a Monday, so I would assume without a deviation I would be leaving Sunday and arriving Monday morning. I know I can deviate up to 2 days. If I do the full 2 days it makes sense to me that it I would be leaving on Friday and arriving on Saturday. But I can also see them booking me on flight on Saturday, having me arrive on Sunday and saying that was the 2 day deviation.

Does anyone have any experience in how NCL counts the days in a case like this?

I plan on calling them, but working crazy crazy hours lately and haven’t wanted to call and play 20 answers 🙃
