Question Re: Upgrade via Visa Rewards Points

What type of stateroom upgrade is redeemed with points?  Is it a jump from interior to ocean view or from ocean view to balcony?  Or is it an upgrade from guarantee to select your room or from forward/aft to center / more desired deck?  Appreciate any help.

It is from an interior to "a minimum available ocean view".

We always use our points for $$ off the total cost of the cruise. And since we haven't cruised in over 2 yrs, we had a good many to apply!!!

Oh, the upgrades are specific?  I assumed I could book an Ocean View and upgrade to a Balcony.  But I see they list the types of upgrades offered and that option is not included.
